Argyle Arms is situated between a local community and an increasing student population who attend the nearby University. As its name indicates the bar was originally named after the Scottish town of Argyle and the Duke thereof. Many connections remain with Scottish visitors to Derry using the bar as a base.
Private parties are catered for in the lounge on a regular basis....

Tracys Bar is situated in the centre of Derry in the traditional shopping and pedestrian area. In recent years Waterloo Street and William Street has evolved as the mecca for licensed premises providing traditional Irish fare, values and music.
The bar which made several appearances in John Mills war movies is one of if not the oldest bar in Derry and its interior design, including a thatched roof, enhances the ambience of an Irish bar full of local characters and craic....

The chef uses the best of local produce with fresh fish from the bustling seaport of Greencastle, just across the Foyle estuary.
Decks is essentially a brasserie. The pine panelling in the restaurant dates back to 1902 when it originated in the board room of one of the Maiden City's oldest shirt factories. This lends a certain mellow elegance to the dining and bar area.
